Why does the computer not rate my best bowler?

After playing online a lot lately, I've returned to my offline game and carrying on.

The England squad never picks my best bowler. When I pick him in the squad it then doesn't pick him for any format. In the first test against Pakistan, he then took 11 wickets and got MOM!

Look at his record; even his online record is brilliant. He was fully fit as it was months after his last game, why doesn't the computer rate him?

I'm utterly baffled.

Computer obviously knows the hidden stats and maybe there is one or two that make them prefer some other players. I’ve got a lot of players they only pick for one format even though they are excellent in all 3

Yes... He doesn't get automatically put into the side in any format for England.
