When I first got CC on PC it was fine but after the last couple updates the application won't respond while loading. Now every now and then I toss the coin and the game freezes, can you fix that?

Hi I am playing as Delhi cc and on my second season, Pawan Negi took 16 wickets for me in a match and bowled out the opposition with just 10 more minutes remaining in the match, his figures were the best of all time for Delhi CC but wasnt reflected. i hope you can fix this and hopefull it will be shown in this save itself. Nor did it show for this season's best figures. And after that miraculous win the MOM was awarded to Mukund who scored 2 half centuries:confused:

I know the T20 engine has come a long way but I still think it needs a lot of work for next year's game.

Once you're past six or so aggression bars, it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've had a few games where I've batted on full aggression from ball one and struggled to get over 170 with five+ wickets in hand and all batsmen ateast aggressive style - how is that realistic?

It made me laugh earlier - my aggressive batsman on full aggression bars hit three fours and a six in one over and then played five forward defensives in the next to play out a maiden!

T20 games just feel completely random (and yes, I get that the real life version can be at times) but it also feels like your inputs have such little impact when your aggressive batsman is still going to play forward defensives in the 16th over.

And don't get me started on bowling! You'll either skittle them for 80 (very rare) or, despite taking early wickets, the opposition will still happily go along at 10 an over - does the AI need looking at?

What teams are you playing as?

Punjab and Lahore Blues. The players are usually taken after about the third FC game then return a few weeks later having played only a handful of T20s.

3) Is this during lobby or match?

1) PC and Android it has happened,
2) Cannot remember specifically (have not played online in the past few weeks) but google chrome would be a safe bet
3)When the challenge is accepted and you are setting the terms for the match

Some other things I have noticed:

- Android users have the advantage of viewing the opposition bowler's stamina in-game, whereas on the PC version you do not have this luxury.

- On Android you are unable (as far as I can tell) to view individual ODI and T20 rankings and records

- When you train someone, who is an opener, to a middle order player it changes their preferred batting position to number 2 despite not being an opener anywhere.

- The IPL has not been playable long-term since it was introduced. The problem is the budgets. In the 2020s none of the world's best international players are playing in the IPL and no team uses four overseas players. In fact none of the AI teams have a player who costs more than 800k, yet all the world's best players are 1m+. In my save I have the Indian captain who costs 1.6m but can never afford a squad of 18 and sometimes can afford as little as 12 players. Is it possible to introduce dynamic budgets which add an inflationary amount each season?

- In 2029 playing as India I was pleasantly surprised to be involved in a triangular ODI series in Australia along with NZ. Each team would play each other four times, for a total of eight games each. The two teams that finished top would then play three finals matches to determine the winner of the series. I made the finals but then after I won the first match of the finals a notification came up that I had won the series, despite two more finals being scheduled to play. We played the final two matches (I won one of them) however they seemed to have no bearing on anything and no notification came up after the last match.

You have to change the filter using the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen.

This is after successful training to middle order? Can you remember what their preferred batting position was before?

Chris' budget system is dynamic and will adapt, this doesn't sound right. Do you have a save for this? We'd love to have a look.

The game has crashed nearly 15 times on September 2021 during gameplay. Very disappointed. Maybe a problem with Steam, but users are suffering.

Hi Nigel,

I have noticed the following bug for a while now but have only just been able to get a suitable screenshot.

It relates to the run wheel analysis of batsmen in game. There are occasions when a batsman hits a boundary through point but the run line wheel shows that boundary going through square leg. The section run wheel shows correctly.

I hope the screenshot shows more clearly what I'm trying to describe!

This has actually been happening since the last series. Played icc2017 on android and now 18 on pc still the same case

Perhaps it does not happen until after a few seasons. I am playing in the Pak league and it happened in early November. I have noticed that it is also normally only players in their first or second seasons who get taken and they always only play about four matches but are gone for over a month

This is after successful training to middle order? Can you remember what their preferred batting position was before?

Yes. I successfully trained Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer to T20 middle order players. After this in their personal details it said preferred batting position in T20 is "number 2". Unfortunately I have deleted this save so am unable to provide a screenshot.

I do have a save for this but honestly it happens in every IPL save I play. Skip 5+ seasons and you will notice that the budgets are vastly under-allocated. The same is true with the Pakistan T20 league and Indian domestic competition. If you want a good model to use then I have found the Pakistan domestic competition to be the most playable competition yet as you always have cash for extra players who may pop up and are always able to fill the minimum squad size. I have not yet tried a county save yet however as that is next on the list.

Also...
- Batsmen should never be able to bowl RF or RMF - anyone capable of bowling these speeds would be a bowler/allrounder
- We have mentioned before about the AI making overly sporting declarations, But another source of fourth innings AI charity is every time you are chasing in the fourth innings the AI reverts to uber defensive settings, even when chasing small targets which seems to make chases a lot easier.
-In Pakistan T20 league, Pakistani international players who are available for 0% of the season are unable to be retained. In fact for the last three seasons no Pakistan players have been available to play in the T20 league so are therefore all are excluded from the draft. I am yet to find out if they become available in any season and if they do whether they magically re-enter the draft or are made available to re-join their last squad. It would be great if you still had the option to retain them in your squad, despite never being available, mainly to keep your online team strong because the Pakistani T20 overseas pool is tripe.
- The AI seems to favour allrounders over specialist bowlers too heavily in ODI and T20. For example AI stops using Rabada in ODI's and T20s in favor of allrounders after a few seasons. Also check my attached screenshot of this regen in 2030 - the guy is pretty much Dale Steyn incarnate and should be playing all six formats but only plays three. I guess that his domestic side is so inundated with allrounders that he cannot even crack their T20 team!

With regard to the Pakistan T20 league, between seasons 2022/23-2024/25 Pakistani national players are available for 0% of the league so are unable to be retained.

Now I have reached season 2025/26 and they will all be available. So all of my old Pakistan players have just all been lumped back into the domestic pool.

Should not these players previous club be given first right of refusal on them? Or perhaps it could be changed to allow us to sign them for 1 year for $0 with 0% availability?

Also the budget for my Pakistani T20 franchise is only $1m to finance a 18 man squad. This is when allrounder's salaries are blowing out to $200k, batsman to $150K and wicket keepers/bowlers to $80k? Just like the IPL you end up with a 12/13 man squad while all the best players go unsold due to the overly tight budget constraints.

AI selectors do not show any consistency. For the Indian team they seem to rotate randomly through a pool of about 12 Indian batsman. Not one player is a regular, not even Kohli. Also a guy in a test series just scored 150 runs against me on his test debut then he got dropped for the next four tests of the series.
