  • After playing the new database Dom bess is still way too good, he gets picked ahead of Ali and Rashid in ODI’s for England, Ali can’t even make it into the team, i think his batting could do with a slightly higher rating.

    Changed in next patch.

Asif Ali for Pakistan dosen’t get picked for his domestic side at all, his batting could do with a slightly higher rating as well.

He doesn't seem to be that good in real life, can score very quickly, but never much?

    • Azhar Ali missing from Somerset
Jerome Taylor missing from Somerset (t20 overseas)

      Both added.

Ross Whiteley shouldn't be defensive - yes he has a low FC s/r but is renowned for being one of the biggest hitters in county cricket - has a t20 s/r of 144.

      Now aggressive.

Anyway, some notes/suggestions if there is an update:

Ben slater too good - top run scorer in country 1st 2 seasons

Max Holden in England sides from 1st season - maybe in 6 or 7 seasons in but he’s just making his way in FC cricket

        M Parkinson too good

Amar Virdi not good enough (discussed as possible spinner for England already)

Darcy short way too good - averaging 55+ in all formats. He’s a fridge first class player at home for WA (though decent in short forms). Real life FC stats - 9 matches, average 21 with the bat and 34 with the ball. Really has only had that too big bash campaign this year otherwise he’s been ordinary. Looked pretty out of his depth in England and a bit in the IPL.

Ben McDermott part time keeper and way too good. Jake Doran more likely to be as good in real life as McDermott on this game.

Alex Carey needs to be better - no contest Australia’s next keeper after Paine. Aggressive batsman.

Bell/Kelly too good - both fringe 1st players in Australia

Stanlake RF & better - Ponting suggests he could be an all time great. Has been in cotton wool

        Dan Fallins right arm LS

        Ashton Agar aggressive

        Shaun Marsh average aggression

        Matt Renshaw average aggression

Ben Howell & Bopara in England squads. Howell opener in FC

        M Marsh RMF

        Dan Worrall RMF

Chadd Sayers basically FC only - no short form gigs

Zampa is too good in the game- Swepson better. Jon Holland 2nd choice test spinner

        Kohli needs to be better

Rabada & Ndigi gone by 3rd year from SA squad - shouldn’t happen

Asad Shafiq FC 4 not 6

Shai Hope average, Shane Dowrich defensive

Kyle Abbott should be one of the better bowlers despite being Kolpak

        Jake Ball RMF

Keaton Jennings way too good - No 1 test bat in world in the 3rd season

M Critchley bowing needs slight improvement - high hopes for his leg spin

Upul Tharanga has taken 12 months off tests

Shezhad from Pak done for drugs again - will have a long suspension

        Jamie Porter RFM

        Tom Latham average aggression

        Will Pukovski average aggression

        Jake Weatherald aggressive

        Jason Holder aggressive

Chandimal from SL is quality - just about their only test standard player so needs to be better, not in squads after first year or 2

5 of English test side is made up players by the 3rd season & 11/18 in OD squad - maybe look at restricting when new players come in to international sides for about 5 seasons (at least in the major countries)?

South Africa have 10 opening bats in their squad by year 3 - often they struggle for 2!

M Abbas from Pakistan looked pretty outstanding as a test bowler during their tour

        Tom Curran RMF

Moeen still a good ODI cricketer - never really selected in the game

Mason Crane probably needs to be made a bit better - will be in the frame for short forms at least when fit

        Dom Bess obviously too good

Joe Burns a bit too good - unlikely to play a lot going forward I don’t think for Australia

Eoin Morgan played a couple of tests - unlikely
Just wondering if this feedback was taken into account for the new update?

        • New updates look very good. Although as stated previously regens start making up the international teams very quickly but not sure a lot you can do about this.
Some other small things I noticed:
-Jason Roy is bowling fairly regularly
-Still no sign of Yuzvendra Chahal playing for India (Sundar is preferred)
-Allrounders like Russell, Stokes, Pandya seem to fall out of the international selectors favor very quickly

          • The shedule for the asia cup has been announced can this be added in the next update?
Six teams will be divided into two groups, with the tournament scheduled from August 29 to September 6 and returning to the ODI format

            • I think with the announcement that Rashid has been named in the England Test squad against India that he should be unretired from FC and Tests.

              • Jake Lintott has now resigned with Hampshire on loan for the remainder of the t20 blast:

                • Hasan khan is an all rounder and you have him down as a bowler.
He plays for Quetta Gladiators in the psl, i think his batting and bowling abilities could both do with a slight increase as he dosen’t get picked for Quetta or his domestic team in the game.

                  • Nasir Hossain and Mosaddek Hossain of Bangladesh should both be considered all-rounders (as opposed to both being batsmen currently in-game. Mosaddek has bowled in all but one of his ODI matches played for Bangladesh and Nasir has bowled in 23 of his last 24 ODI matches.

                    • Aaron Ayre no longer contracted by Victoria.
Daniel Drew no longer contracted by South Australia.

Will Somerville is missing from the New South Wales squad.
Jake Carder is missing from the Western Australia squad.

Caleb Jewell, is he a keeper? Don't think he has ever kept at state level and not sure about grade cricket.

Tom Rogers, I would classify as a RMF instead of RFM.
Hilton Cartwright, I would classify as a RM instead of RFM.

D'Arcy Short is a lower order batsman in First Class, not an opener.
Aaron Finch is a No. 5 batsman in FC not No. 3.
Jon Wells and Jordan Silk are middle order batsmans in T20 and One Day not openers.
Ben McDermott listed as an opener in OD and T20 but bats at 4 and 5.

Usman Khawaja, Ashton Agar, Alex Ross, Jake Weatherald and Marcus Stoinis, I would argue are Aggressive batsman rather than Average Aggression.
Hamish Kingston, Average Aggression instead of Defensive.

Any chance for AUS States starting with all players contracted IRL are contracted in the game? (AI keeps delisting players such as Joe Burns, George Bailey, Chris Tremain, etc.)

                      • Kent
Heino Kuhn is classed as an opener in FC, he's batted at no.3 all season for Kent, so not sure if he should be reclassed here
Matt Henry seems very underpowered (me and my friend who also has a Kent save both think this)
Denly is classed as an opener in OD, he's definitely a no.3/4 batsmen as per recent years

                        • Mitchell Swepson needs his ability increased as he doesn't get picked for Queensland or Brisbane heat.

Mark Watt (SLA - Scotland) - has been playing for Lancashire 2XI, should he be included there?

                            • I'm managing Ireland and it seems a bit unfair to me that Will Porterfield is listed as a 'defensive' batsman. I'm sure he's mainly been seen as a one day specialist during his time in English county cricket.

He has a 70 SR in ODIs and 73 in List A. That goes up to 110 in T20Is and 122 in normal T20s. I think he should be set at 'average' aggression personally.

For comparison, his team-mate Niall O'Brien is listed as average aggression despite having the same SR in ODIs and much less in T20Is.

This is only a minor thing but thougth I'd bring it up as it makes Porterfield a bit useless in T20 cricket and a lot of people seem to be using Ireland.

                              • Mudassar Nazar for Pakistan in Alltime Greats needs to be rated as an Allrounder...currently part timer Mohsin Khan is bowling ahead of him.

Asif Iqbal of Pakistan should also be an allrounder, he has an excellent Test bowling record.
