Adjust the hands preference of the youth or generated players. Ive only seen RHB-RM, RHB-RFM, RHB-RMF, RHB-RF, RHB-OB, RHB,LB or LHB-LM, LHB-LFM, LHB-LMF, LHB-LF, LHB-SLA, LHB,SLC but ive never seen generated players with RHB-LM, LHB-RFM, RHB-LMF, LHB-RF, RHB-SLA, LHB,LB, LHB-RM, RHB-LFM, LHB-RMF, RHB-LF, LHB-OB, RHB,SLC. Youth system should also produce players who prefers opposite hand for bowling or batting. I suppose left hand leg break/Chinaman is named SLC. Please answer me if the issue can be corrected so I can rebuy the game before 20th july ;)

Our bowling speeds go in this order:, in terms of slowest to fastest.

RM > RFM > RMF > RF

I've logged opposite hands for different skills for Chris to look at.

Chinaman is a bit more complicated, but Chris will look at when release has quietened down a bit. The patch we've done today had some good fixes in and we want to get iOS/Mac released before we do much else.

Just playing an England career and Virat Kohli is batting at 6 for India in this years test series, not sure that's quite right. Plus they're going in with Rohit Sharma as their primary spinner batting at 7.

Edit : Few tests in and Kohli's been dropped to 7 with India now playing a 4 man attack consisting of 2 spinners...

Maybe they should add an option for specialist top order batsmen(who prefers batting at number 3 and 4 only), generally the highly skilled batsmen bat on that position? Anyway they just released an update today perhaps that issue already been resolved?

I agree he bowls quite a bit for Lancashire but similar to keaton jennings he?s a batsmen who can bowl. I cant ever seeing liam livingstone getting picked for england as an all rounder. He might bowl a few overs now and again but in international cricket his bowling would get found out. He?s a batsmen for me. Its just kind of annoying when in the game im looking and he?s taken 40-50 first class wickets for Lancashire in one season!
One that ive thought about shouldnt dominic bess be an all rounder? He can clearly bat and has a first class hundred. Or is he a bowler that can bat?

Think Livingstone's bowling has definitely improved a lot over the winter. Isn't a genuine all rounder yet I would say but probably bowls enough to be given the all rounder title if that makes sense. He consistently bowled his allocation in the one day games this season and took a few wickets & has bowled two or three overs in most of the T20 games so far (though Old Trafford is a spinner's paradise atm). I reckon he should be a limited overs all rounder but just a batsman in FC.

Don't have format specific all-rounders, but changed Livingstone to just 20 over batsman.

Usman Ghani (AFG) should be defensive rather than very aggressive. This is obvious from his career strikerates.


His SR are all over the place. His biggest sample size is FC where his SR is 75, I'm going to leave him as very aggressive for now. Only 21 still.

Vijay Shankar, Daryl Mitchell and Anton Devcich should be allrounders. Brett Hampton very aggressive.

Playing against Durham in a First class game and they have the most ridiculous order I've ever seen. Gareth Harte is batting 8 (he's batted 5 or 6 this season in FC) and batting 9 is Mike Jones who has been batting top 3 in either the second XI 3 day stuff or in Durham;s first class side. They have Ryan Pringle batting 5 who's been batting 7, Usman Arshad at 6 who's a no. 9 normally in the FC side and Weighill at 7. Would love to know what they are doing!

Tweaked some settings, Chris has been looking at this too.

Enjoying the game guys! Just played a test match vs India (as Afghanistan). Rahane came on as first change bowler, even though he's never bowled a ball in international cricket before, and India have 6 bowlers in their line up.


Bizarre, his bowling rating is not good, but tweaked.

Actually really enjoying the game so far this year as at county level at least alot of the players feel pretty accurate in my Yorkshire file.

I do have one big issue though and it is the training again... I see this season we have the option to do fielding coaching, and I have gone for a rebuild where at least half of my players are under 21 yet I haven't had a SINGLE message suggesting that any player has improved in any area, be that batting, bowling or fielding despite me being through almost an entire season. The game already has serious feedback issues in these areas as you literally cannot tell if your player is at maximum potential or not, but the training appears to have been toned down now too? I'm just getting no feedback at all, and the feeling I have always had (though this may/may not be intended) is that you either give players training to improve their form, of you give them technique training to improve them long term at the detriment to short term form which tends to happen in real life. This often feels like the case in game anyway, but after playing a ridiculous number of games surely I should be getting at least 1 message that a player has improved by now?

I'm not a fan of having 18 year olds that are instantly international level top players if the training really is this basic. Right now it feels like some players can improve once in most areas and that's it but we never actually know because of the lack of feedback. I'm just operating in blind faith on something that might not even make a difference as far as I'm aware, yet I full well know from the feedback sureshot makes that he can tweak players ability if they aren't accurate in game

Is this something that can be looked at ?

I've improved Will Jacks in next update.

I agree, his batting needs an upgrade. Also feel he should have been left as a batsmen and not an all rounder.

Kuldeep Yadav and other Chinaman Bowlerslike Shamsi and Sandakan are shown as SLA in the game.. Shouldn?t they be shown as LS and bowl with left hand like it used to be in the older versions of the game?

I think the updated Jacks is slightly more realistic, apart from his 47* against the Windies A his other 3 FC scores in real life have all been under 20. However if he doesn't start scoring runs in the white ball stuff on your game I'd be more concerned as he's a hell of a prospect in that format
