By the age of 34 Lawrence Osborne had taken 1000+ test wickets from 159 matches. Averaging 27.02 he took a 5 wicket haul a staggering 80 times! Sorry don't have a screenshot of his most recent stats, he is long since retired.

In the player records section, there is an option in the search parameters to view retired players. Looking forward to seeing his final record :)

I don't think I've ever seen a test bowling strikerate that good in CC18.

Did you have a few all-rounders that kept him out of the one day team?

Believe it or not I actually had 4-5 other bowlers (no all rounders) who bowled better in ODIs. Couldn't get my batting to fire... Until I adopted my aggressive approach, now ranked 1st in ODIs (2047)

Yes the aggressive approach is definitely a recipe for success in ODI's. For tests picking average and defensive batsmen and aggresive bowlers, such as Osmond, seems to be the best approach.

By some chance did you begin your AUS save a few months ago?

I ask because in the saves I played when the game first came out AUS never produced any decent regen allrounders. I complained on the forum about it and now it seems in all my saves AUS produce good regen allrounders.

I just played my most exciting test match for a long time!

I am beginning year 2043 with Afghanistan. I have a whopping five test series scheduled for this year. I am currently ranked third. I have just won the world cup and have a quality group of players. I feel this is my chance to go to number one in the test rankings.

My first assignment however is a two match AWAY series against the number one ranked Pakistan. The pitch has a bad bounce rating which means wickets tumble like crazy. I am set an almost impossible sounding 325 in the fourth innings chase on an pitch with erratic bounce. I lose my opener retired hurt off his first ball but somehow get there (so I theoretically won by one wicket). My number 11 is a bunny and when he came in I still needed 16 runs to win!
