20 Over Overseas limits on Squads and in the final XI for each country

3 in the squad (+ main overseas), 2 in the final XI.

Australia 20 Over Comp:

4 in the squad, 2 in the final XI.

West Indies 20 Over Comp:

5 in the squad, 4 in the final XI.

Pakistan 20 Over Comp:

8 in the squad, 4 in the final XI.

Bangladesh 20 Over Comp:

8 in the squad, 4 in the final XI.

Indian 20 Over Comp:

11 in the squad, 4 in the final XI

South Africa (now the 6 teams play all 3 formats, no franchise league):

2 in the squad (+ main overseas), 2 in the final XI.

New Zealand:

2 in the squad (+ main overseas), 2 in the final XI.

Are we allowed to sign players from the same nation, i.e. can our main overseas player and our back up overseas player be from the same nation?
It was so fustrating that this feature wasn't fixed in the 2017 version.
Hopefully this time around its been fixed.

It's there by design, so you don't have both players away on international duty, but you raise a valid point.

I'll have a chat with Chris next week (he's away this weekend) and see what he thinks.

In the IPL this year teams were only allowed a maximum of 8 overseas players in the squad. (https://indianexpress.com/article/sp...-know-5038839/) - Read the third paragraph.

I don't know if you can do this but in the T20 comp in Australia, there are 2 main overseas players then 2 reserves if they get injured, so they don't get to choose between 4 players then choose 2, the two reserves are only there if the main 2 overseas players get injured

Chris has changed overseas limit to 8 in Indian 20 Over League.

Will be incredibly difficult to change the Aus 20 over contracts, so we're going to have to leave that for now.
