I think the the claim made by the developers that you can change a bowler who is good in batting to an all-rounder and vice versa was just a fluke.

Please don't give such assurances to lure us, and try to bring them to work in the game.

By the way chinaman bowling action is very good, loved it.

    Thanks.

Actually soon after the developers responded to me about that I played someone online who had trained Kuldeep Yadav to be an all-rounder.

The deal was that you could only become an all-rounder if you had a certain amount of batting ability already. So Kuldeep Yadav had enough batting ability but Rashid Khan did not, so it is a very fine line. The developers said they were going to widen it but, not sure whether they have or not?

Simi singh disappears from Ireland after the first season. Even can't find him in retired players.

There is a major glitch in the Test Match AI... When I bat with three aggression bars, my run rate is around 3.75 on average, and the opposition team seems to also bat fairly aggressively at around the same run-rate. However, when I bat with two aggression bars, my run rate obviously is lower (2.75 or so) but surprisingly even the opposition also bats at the same scoring rate! STRANGE INDEED. So, very few results while playing with two bars vs three bars which almost always produces a result! I have to admit that CC18 AI for Test matches was far more superior in this aspect. I suspect this has to do something with the increase in aggression bars for batting.

This could be a bit controversial, but is there a chance that you could make medium bowlers and finger-spinners inherently worse at limited overs bowling?

In the T20 blast comp I have Finch and Maxwell, both quality very aggressive batsmen. Both are striking at under 100, yet have both never been on less than 6 aggression (7 an over or 117 strikerate).

The problemI find is the English cloud cover which overtly favours fast medium and medium bowlers. It is debateable whether this should even make much of a difference in red ball cricket. But it is unquestionable that it should not make a difference in white ball cricket.

Take this match for example, I got to bowl first in a T20 blast game. I saw the conditions where very cloudy so I brought on Ryan Higgins to open up, a RM bowler, bowled him four on the trot and next thing you know he has taken 5/12.

Take Ed Barnard for example, a RFM bowler. In real life T20 he has taken 14 wickets@47 at 9.22 per over. Now look what I have done with him in 2.5 seasons at New Road in T20s: 63 wickets@12.81 at 7.21 per over. I put this success down to one single factor: CLOUD COVER!!!

Two settled batsman on the new full aggression for last over of a T20 innings. Oh the excitement at what will happen!!!!

Is it possible to address the AI being allergic to playing allrounders in test matches? Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Hardik Pandya do not get a look in. Yet the AI is happy to use them in limited overs. Similarly players like Mark Wood, Olly Stone and Kagiso Rabada will play test matches but not limited overs.

The AI seems to have been programmed to pick specialists in test matches but allrounders in limited overs, rather than looking at actual ability.

Just had a player (Keddy Lesporis) get chosen for the West Indies ODI side in my Jamaican save. He has a total of 16 OD games and hasn't played one in at least 3 seasons.

                      Hi Sureshot,

The same is happening that has happened in previous versions. The line chart of runs is not accurate and it portays some runs on the off side when in fact it was on the on side. The Run section chart is accurate.

See attached screenshot. Let me know if you need any more details.

                      Played on Android.

                      Thanks.

                        Hi all,

Bit of an odd one this, and not a major issue, but it happened to me once in CC18 and it's just happened again in CC19 (shows how poor I am at batting, as you'll see): ripping twice through my line-up, an opposition bowler broke his team's records for best bowling in an innings and a match. Nothing particularly odd about that, but you don't normally get told about the opposition breaking records, do you? And I even seem to have been "credited" for his performance as it unlocked an "achievement" for me. It seems only to have happened with innings/match bowling records so far, and clearly doesn't affect gameplay, but I thought it worth mentioning nonetheless.

                        Thanks!

Babar Azam with a century in the 49th over facing Mason Crane. Using the new full aggression, despite being fully settled, he gets more pad on ball than bat. Click image for larger version

Here is some feedback on the English county game so far:

FC Matches: aggressive batsmen are so hard to control
conditions are usually very good for batting and poor for bowling, should be the other way around.

OD Matches: very good except when the AI is chasing a big score they almost always capitulate Windies style for 150 all out of 25 overs. They never step back on the aggression and rebuild.

T20 Matches: conditions are usually great for bowling and bad for batting. This should be the other way around. Less bowler friendly conditions in T20 PLEASE!! Too often 120 is a part score, which should NEVER be the case! I mean look at this rubbish from my most recent season
                            season

Playing county championship on Android. My opponent was batting in the fourth innings on the first session of the fourth day. Rain was scheduled for the final two sessions.

After the first session was conpleted I got a message saying 2 hours 1 minute lost to rain, which meant that the entire second session was rained out. But then the "continue" option appeared, which usually does not appear until the match is over, or in this case the third session. When I pushed continue the app crashed, so all of that match data was lost

In an earlier county championship game I got a message saying 4 hours 2 minutes lost to rain, meaning two whole sessions in a row. I am guessing that this is a new feature you have added, because I have never had a message saying more than one session had been washed out. My theory is that this might not be coded properly to work when it is the last two sessions of a match being washed out?

Here are some stark illustrations of how CC19 T20 conditions are far too favoured towards bowlers. These players are all from my 2024 Worcestershire save, on normal mode. Look at the T20 bowling stats! This is meant to be a batsman's game!

Perhaps none are more indicative of this than Ed Barnard:
                                In real life: 26 wickets@43.07 RPO:9.15
                                In CC19: 135 wickets@13.9 RPO: 7.11
