Anyone else a little puzzled by this - I've now had 3/4 5 season+ play throughs with England, and a couple with Sussex and in all cases Archer ends up being an aggressive lower order bat averaging 30 or so but with a bowling average of 40+ - am I doing something wrong?

I mean Buttler had one good year in test cricket and suddenly he's a world beater on this version - and in previous versions, was it 2015 Stokes, as a promising young player was exceptional.

Given the hype I'm just surprised that Archer is basically not really worth picking in this version.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone got anything out of him in this?

No I have found the same. He is borderline international quality on this version, just like the last one. His FC batting is better in this version because he has a very aggressive rating, which the CC19 FC match engine is much more sympathetic too than the CC18 engine.
