Buy now or wait for Patch?

Hi All,

I haven't yet bought CC19, I'm still playing CC18 and have been waiting for the new patch of CC19 before buying the new game.

Can anyone confirm that if I buy now and start a new game, will the patch and database update be applied to the saved game or would I have to start a new game once the patch is applied for it to take effect?

If I should wait, when will the patch be released? In other words, how longer do we have to wait?

If gameplay changes are made then the patch will apply. Anything else and it will not.
