This is a new career i will play after my West Indies career got derailed due to game getting corrupted.

First up is the CPL.

We open against the defending champions Trinidad & Tobago.

Philips showed his fine form as he anchored the innings and stayed till the end with 86* of 63 balls (6x4, 5x6) but no real support from the other end meant we could only post 136.


T&T


Jangoo started well with 46 off 36 but it was Ramdin who provided the finishing touches with a 21 ball 35 as they overcame the target with 11 balls to spare. Springer was the most successful with 2/21.

2nd Match: vs Windward Islands

Springer and Oshane Thomas combined to take 7 wickets between them as we bundle Windwards for 104.

Philips again started well with 41 off 50 and Worker put on the finishing touches with a 32 ball 43 as we wrap this in 15.2 overs.

3rd Match: vs Leeward Islands

Glen and Powell replaces Gayle and Russell as they are selected for the Cricket World Cup. Powell was the only player putting up a fight as he posted 39* of 53 balls (5x4, 1x6) as we again score only 103. Louis was the most successful with 3/33 followed by Cotterell who took 2/14.


Leeward

But Butt and Springer once again combined beautifully to bowl out Leewards for a paltry 78, both taking 4 wickets apiece.

4th Match: vs Gyana

Another pathetic performance with the bat as again we score only 106. Laughlin was the star performer with 4/19. Philips was injured and so his absence really bothered us.

And it was an easy victory for the Guyanese.

Philips smashed his 1st century of the season - 118* off 54 balls (16x4, 4x6) as we post 188

Ramdin fought a valiant battle with 92* off 57 (12x4, 1x6) but we pick up wickets from the other end as T&T finishes at 172.

Leniko Boucher top scored with 54 as they post 173. Oshane Thomas picked 4/35.

A poor batting performance again as Hendricks did the star turn picking up 4/17.

Dickwella played a patient innings as despite wickets going down all around him, he managed to steer his team to victory

Philips was back with a 61 of 34 balls (10x4, 1x6). Reifer took 3/24 and Lamichhane 2/20 as we post 153.

Hales set up the platform with 48 off 37 balls (2x4, 3x6) but I Khan and Russell took 2 wickets apiece to wrap this up quickly.

Philips continued his brilliant form with 95* off 57 balls (12x4, 2x6) as we post 167

Hossain tried his best with 52 off 25 (3x4, 5x6) but Butt's 5/18 triggered a sensational collapse as they get bowl out for 126.

Guyana

Pooran's end of the innings blitz - 48* off 28 balls (7x4, 1x6) propelled Guyana to 189.

And here is how the final table looks like. The defending champions, Trinidad & Tobago finished last which was a major shock for them. This means a new champion will be crowned. We finish 3rd so we need to take the longer route through eliminator.
