A timely 41 from Walton helped us post a below par total of 137.
Trinidad & Tobago
A brilliant spell from Lamichhane on his debut for Jamaica helped us to 17 runs as he registered figures of 5/23 making him the first debutant for Jamaica to pick 5 wickets in CPL on debut.

Top 5 Batsmen
Green was unbelievably fantastic for us. He also broke the all time career record of highest runs in Digicel Trophy this season as he posted 1109 runs @ Avg. of 69.31. Zazai was also good as our overseas player and going forward, we would like to retain him.
Top 5 Bowlers
Louis was our primary strike bowler with 54 wickets, almost double that of his nearest rival. Harpreet Brar was also fantastic as our reserve overseas player as in his debut season, he picked up 24 wickets including 10 wickets in a match.

So, Guyana win their 6th consecutive Digicel Championship. Too many draws for us which pegged us back.

Trinidad & Tobago- 1st Inns
Lewis played an explosive 105 with Pooran and Mohammed supporting him as they post 334.
Jamaica - 1st Inns
Garvey and Blackwood shared a century opening stand and Allen hit a patient century as we post 403.
Trinidad & Tobago - 2nd Inns
Lewis followed his 1st innings knock with yet another explosive innings and once again Pooran and Mohammed contributed to set us a target of 316. Oshane picked 5 wickets as he took 5/92.
Jamaica - 2nd Inns
Glen hit a century and Campbell played a good knock as we cross 300 but again fell 16 runs short to force a win.

Brathwaite hit a half century and Nicholas a century as they post 390. Lamont took 4/125 for us.
Jamaica - 1st Inns
Zazai make yet another half century and Green smashes a career high 174 and also cross 1000 runs as we make 451.
Barbados - 2nd Inns
Barbados run down the day as this match was a bore draw.

8th Match: V/s Leewards Islands
Leewards Islands- 1st Inns
Louis took 6/51 and Lamont took 4/61 as Leewards were bundled for 212 with only Saunders providing some resistance.
Jamaica - 1st Inns
Green hit yet another century but Joseph and Cotterell combined to keep us down till 267.
Leeward Islands - 2nd Inns
Perera, Palmer and Cornwall all hit big half centuries as they post a mammoth 421 to set us a steep target of 366. Lamont was the most successful for us with 5/119.
Jamaica - 2nd Inns
Zazai finally hit another century and Campbell steadied the ship with a 56 as we drew the match scoring 334 against the target of 366.

7th Match: V/s Guyana
We go back to back against Guyana with them handing us our 1st defeat last match.
Guyana - 1st Inns

Their overseas player, the Bangladeshi Naim hit a century and Reifer hit a 89 as Guyana post a massive 490.

Campbell and Green played good knocks as we posted 343. Pestano the best bowler with 4/41.

They declared at 143/5 giving us a target of 290 on the last day.

Garvey and Zazai who had returned gave us a great platform at the start and Campbell almost won the match with his 89 but we fell short by 2 runs and match was drawn.
I think this is a faulty match engine otherwise how can you possibly draw a match when only 3 runs are required in the final over and you only score 1 run?? Seriously?? WTF??

Keemo Paul was outstanding with the ball as he took 7/55 as we got shot down for just 188.
Guyana - 1st Inns
And Paul followed his bowling with a responsible 60 as they took a slender lead. Louis took yet another 5 wicket haul.
Jamaica - 2nd Inns
Allen grabbed a special century and contributions from Campbell and Williams meant we cross 300 and posted 325. Paul followed up with yet another 5 wicket haul to take 12 wickets in the match.
Guyana- 2nd Inns
Hetmyer took the game away from us as he smashed 167 off 179 (29x4) to chase down 298 to hand us our 1st defeat of the trophy.
Guyana won by 5 wickets
