What is the difference between the two keeper symbols in Cricket Captain 2021?
The keeper with the ball and the keeper without the ball.
Also, is it a bug for it to change for a certain keeper. I am in 2028 and my keeper's symbol changes for some reason.

Keeper + ball = specialist keeper (Jos Buttler)
Keeper + O = specialist keeper who opens (Tom Latham)
Keeper + bat = part time keeper (AB de Villiers)
Keeper + bat + O = Opener who is a par time keeper (Rory Burns)

Some players will only have an O for short form games. So Adam Gilchrist will have the specialist keeper symbol for FC matches but will have an O symbol for OD and T20 matches.

I've never seen a keeper change their permanent symbols but if that's the case, they may have had enough keeping training to have the bat symbol removed (not a reflection of their batting skill). Not sure if that's possible though.

I'd imagnie the symbol might be changing depending on what match type you have selected, ie, you have First Class selected but your keeper is only an opener in OD and/or 20 Overs.

Wilted has explained the symbols above perfectly. Thanks.
