    Sussex:

Burrows was only on a short term contract at the start of last season so should be removed. Removed
Hinley is no longer part of the squad. Removed

Tom Clark should be FC opener as he opens when Haines or Orr are missing. Changed
Harrison Ward should be OD/T20 opener (opened in last year's OD cup). Fair enough

James Coles being V.Def seems harsh given his scoring rate so far this year.
Ali Orr should probably be aggressive (his SR is brought down by some slow scoring in his debut season). Now V Agg white ball

      Great work on squads!

Haseeb Hameed aggression should not be very defensive. Understand that's how he's been most of his career but last year clearly changed his game and scored 1200 runs at a strike rate in the 60s. Aggressive in 4 day seems about right.

Also agree on the point above about James Coles aggression.

How is M Abbas (Hants) RFM while H Ali (Warw) RMF? I'm pretty sure H Ali has a better pace than him.

In the game RMF is faster than RFM.

          M - > FM -> MF -> F

          From slowest to fastest.

Leics: Rishi Patel having a great season opening, iirc third leading run scorer and has 3 tons
Hill (and Budinger for that matter) are only party time keepers, Handscomb has had the gloves thus far in FC.
Kimber no longer a part time keeper, more likely to send down a few overs of spin then stand behind the stumps.
Again, I don’t believe Ackerman to be an all rounder any more, hasn’t bowled much at all over the last 2 seasons or for Netherlands but I can understand why you would keep him as one
Nick Welch in OD and T20 definitely more aggressive then Avg, SR% of 138 in t20 and struck at 158 in t20 last year (75 in 50 over)
I may be wrong but is Rehan Ahmed now ECI contracted?

Leus du Plooy - should be changed to aggressive in FC's as his strike rates has usually been 56+ for most of the past few seasons including this one which is currently 65, whilst his batting average has improved in that time as well.
Matt Lamb should be changed to average aggression in white ball cricket. Has now been calculated as avg
Brooke Guest should be changed to defensive in FC's based on this season so far & last season's strike rates
Anuj Dal should be changed to average aggression in FC's based on the last few seasons strike rates all being 50+ and getting his career strike rate up to 49 now.
Mattie McKiernan should possibly be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket. Has now been calculated as v agg
Alex Thomson should be a much more economical bowler with a much higher bowling average than he currently is in the game. He averaged 50 at 2.95 last season in the Championship but in my saves was averaging around 29 at a economy of 4.10 We use dynamic abilities, so his performance in CC22 isn't 100% relevant
Mark Watt should be changed to aggressive in both formats, he had a strike rate of 61 for Derbyshire in the Championship last season and 56 this season so far, a strike rate of 123 in the T20 Blast, and 130 for Scotland in T20Is last year.

Jack Burnham was released in 2021 and cricketarchive has him as playing no club cricket either since then which is a shame as he looked a promising player before his career stalled. No longer in DB
Jonny Bushnell should be changed to either defensive or average aggression in FC's considering his small sample size and the fact he's he's striking at 61 from 3 innings this season so far. He should also be changed to an allrounder as he regularly bowls in red ball matches and in 2nd XI white ball cricket, but hasn't done so yet in 5 1st XI white ball matches.
Bas de Leede should be an allrounder (very good in both departments for Durham and the Netherlands) as he bowls regularly for all teams in all formats and also has a T20I bowling average of 16.62 with a economy of 8.01. Also needs a big batting boost (in addition to bowling & fielding) from what I've seen in CC22 as he currently averages 51 in FC matches, 31 in T20Is, and also averaged 25 in ODIs last year whilst averaging 39 and 37 against England and Pakistan respectively across 6 ODIs. He should also be changed to aggressive in FC's considering he's striking at 56 in the Championship this season. Bas de Leede is also a RHB RMF rather than the LHB LM he currently is. All-rounder and RHB RMF
Michael Jones should be changed to average aggression in FCs considering he striked at 55 and is striking at similar this season. Also should hopefulyl get a decent batting boost to reflect last season and this season where he has performed remarkably consistenly at high scoring rates as well.
Ben McKinney should be very aggressive in FCs, striking at 70 in his only FC game so far and also striking at 84 in 4 Youth Tests whilst averaging 47 over the past year. He should also be changed to either aggressive or very aggressive in white ball cricket as well. He should also be down as a opener in all 3 formats, as he often switches between 2 and 3 and he opens more often than not.
Tom Mackintosh should be changed to defensive if not average aggression in FC's based on his strike rate of 45 last season with a small sample size. He striked at 49 in the 2nd XI Championship last season (average in the mid 30s), 53 in 2021 (average of 48), and 65.47 this year.
Ollie Robinson should be changed to very aggressive in FCs and possibly white ball cricket as well going by his strike rates across his career and the last few years. In the Championship he is striking at 88 this season so far with a average of 46 to boot, a strike rate of 55 last year, 59 the year before, and 57 in 2020 to go with a 58 career before this season (now 61). Last season he had a strike rate of 123 in the RLODC including a double century.
Tristan Stubbs should be down as a allrounder (or a batsman who chips in as a handy bowling option) rather than a keeper. I don't believe he has ever kept at professional level and could just be something cricinfo have down based on a few scorecards at provincal U13 level. He has bowled quite a few times now and is a very good fielder but has no stumpings to his name.
Harry Crawshaw should be down as a FC opener, as he regularly faces the very first ball in 2nd XI cricket and has opened in all but 1 of his 2nd XI red ball matches, with the other game batting at 3. As he hasn't played any List A matches yet and as there's no 2nd XI 50 over matches anymore, he could be down as a FC + LA opener. Not sure 2nd XI is that relevant to this.
Ben Raine should be changed to average aggression in FC's, as he had a strike rate of 52 in 2021 & 2022, and is currently striking at 56 from 6 matches this season.
Liam Trevaskis could possibly be changed to average aggression in FC's as his strike rates has been 65 this season from 1 FC game, 44 in 2022, and 62 in 2021. Based on his last few seasons, his white ball strike rate should definitely be changed to aggressive or very aggressive as defensive is currently way too low for him. He definitely seems to have picked up his scoring rate over the last 3 or 4 seasons. Now calculated as Agg in white ball
Brydon Carse could possibly be changed to an allrounder rather than just being a bowler. He currently averages nearly 30 from 39 FC games, nearly 20 from 9 ODI games (goes up to 29 when batting at 9), and 18 from 60 T20 games. Inflated average from not outs.
Mitchell Kileen could be changed to defensive in FCs as he has a strike rate of 48 in the 2nd XI championship for both this season and last season.
Matt Kuhnemann had to end his stint after just 3 games where he was at the time the joint highest wicket-taker due to a back injury which requires a extended period of rehab. Don't know if that offically rules him out of the Ashes completely or not, but considering he's been ruled out of his Durham stint which was meant to be for the whole season, I would say he should be put down as injured until around September or October, or available for Durham's last 3 or so games.
Ajaz Patel possibly could be changed from very defensive to something higher such as average aggression in FCs. He striked at 99 for Glamorgan, 48 for Central Districts and 98 so far for Durham.

Nick Browne should be changed to very defensive in white ball cricket with his career strike rates and also considering he scored at strike rates under 60 across 4 RLODC games in 2021 & 2022. He should also be retired from T20s as he last played a game in the format 7 years ago in 2016 and instead played in the Minor Counties for Suffolk instead of playing any T20s or 2nd XI T20s last season.
Alastair Cook should be changed to average aggression as he has had a strike rate of 50+ in every season since retiring from test cricket bar last season. He also has a career strike rate of 54.28 from 183 non-Test FC Matches.
Robin Das is currently not a opener in any format but opened in the 50 Over Cup, and also has been opening in the 2nd XI T20s, whilst he has batting at 3 in both the 2nd XI and in his debut FC game just gone against Ireland where he struck 132 at a strike rate of 112.
Feroze Khushi should be a limited overs opener, having opened in both the T20s and the RLODC regularly last season. Changed
Based on his strike rates since 2021 to this season, Dan Lawrence should be changed to either very aggressive or aggressive in FC's.
Josh Rymell should be changed to an opener in both FCs & List As, where he has opened before & performed well in the role during the 2021 RLODC. Changed
Tom Westley should probably be changed to average aggression in white ball cricket based on his career strike rates which reflect his strike rates in recent seasons as well. He should also be changed from a white ball opener to a number 3 in List As and a number 5 or 6 in T20s. Westley is now calculated as Agg. Removed opener status
Matt Critchley should still be a T20 Opener (having done so in the last Essex T20 game as well as doing so regularly for Derbyshire), whilst also needing a decent batting & bowling boost. Spent more time not opening, not sure on this.
Ben Allison should be changed to defensive or average aggression in white ball cricket based on his RLODC strike rate.
Based on his strike rate being 45 in FC's and higher in 2nd XI cricket, Aron Nijjar should possibly be changed to defensive in FCs.
Aaron Beard should be an allrounder and also changed to very aggressive in both formats, with last season FC strike of the mid-high 60s being very similar to how he plays at 2nd XI level, with him getting a lot more batting time and opportunities last season and starting to show his batting talents and potential last season. Not an all-rounder, now calculated as v agg in white ball.
Luc Benkenstein should be an allrounder Batted 6/7 in RLODC, fair enough.

              Having to edit

Miles Hammond should probably be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket, especially based off his T20 strike rates in recent seasons as he hasn't been able to play in the RLODC.
George Scott was released at the end of last season.
Grant Roelofsen could possibly be changed to aggressive in FCs based on his past few seasons. He should also be a opener in 50 overs cricket in addition to T20s having done so in the recent SA domestic competition and I believe doing so for Essex in the RLODC last year, where he averaged 59.
Ben Wells should be a limited overs opener rather than just a T20 Opener, having opened in a few RLODC games last year.
Will Naish should be a T20 Opener, having opened in his only T20 against the SLC Development XI and also being a regular opener in the past few years in the 2nd XI T20s.
Based on both this season and last season after getting a sustained run in the side, Tom Price should be changed to very aggressive in all formats from his current categories.
Graeme van Buuren should also be changed to very aggressive in all formats based on his strike rates in the past few seasons.
Zafar Gohar should possibly be changed to aggressive in FCs based on the past 2 or 3 seasons.
Ajeet Dale should possibly be changed to defensive in FC's rather than just being very defensive based on him striking at 53 last season and at 46 this season. He should also be changed to average aggression or at least defensive in white ball cricket considering he had a strike rate of 82 in his only season of 2nd XI 50 Overs cricket in 2019 at 18, whilst 2nd XI T20s he has only batted 4 times, twice in 2019 when he scored 9 runs off 7 balls to have a strike rate of 128.57, and twice in 2021 scoring 2 runs off 4 balls, and having not batted in either 2018 or 2022.
David Payne was out injured until the start of the T20 Blast due to having ankle surgery in March.
Josh Shaw should be down as very aggressive in FC's as his strike rate has been 59 or higher from the 2021 season till now.
Paul van Meekeren should be changed from very defensive to very aggressive in limited overs cricket. He has a strike rate of 114 from 5 ODIs this year, and also had a strike rate of 153 from 12 T20Is last year, as well as a strike rate of 143 from 2 innings in the T20 Blast last year as well.

Nick Gubbins should be changed to average aggression in FCs, having striked at 58 in 2020, 56 in 2021 and 51.50 last year in addition to a career strike rate of 50. He should also bowl a lot more than he currently does, especially in white ball cricket where he bowls a fair few overs in the RLODC & in 2nd XI T20s is often a frontline bowler bowling 4 overs, and tending to be surprisingly economical across the 3 formats as well whilst taking a few wickets. He should possibly be changed from a limited overs opener into batting at 3 in 50 overs and 4 in T20s as he opened only in the RLODC last year but in 2021 was batting at 3, whilst in the T20s he batted at 4 in Zimbabwe and at 3 in the 2nd XI, as well as batting most of his 50 Overs career at 3 I believe.
Based on both his career strike rates as well as in recent seasons, Ben McDermott should be very defensive in FC's, whilst based on his recent seasons he should be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket.
Tom Prest should possibly be changed to aggressive based on the way he plays his cricket, and also possibly changed to an allrounder which is a role he fulfills regularly for the England Lions and U19s although he doesn't always bowl for Hampshire considering the amount of frontline bowlers they have in their side. He could also be changed to an allformat opener as he bats as a opener in the 2nd XI FCs (and would have batted as a opener in the game against the SL Development XI if not for Turner opening as nightwatchman), he opens regularly in 50 overs cricket and would be opening in T20s if McDermott wasn't available, and instead is batting at 3 at the time and doing really well in the position, so he should probably be down as either a opener in all 3 formats, or just FCs & LAs.
Joe Weatherley should be changed to average aggression in FCs as very defensive is way too low for him considering he scored at 54 last season and 59 this season, both while averaging 30+ with the bat. He could also be possibly be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket based on his strike rates in T20 since 2021.
Ross Whiteley should possibly be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket. He should also be retired from FC's if he isn't already, as he signed a 3 year white ball only deal from the 2022 season onwards and is playing for Dorset during the Championship, with his FC game last year being pretty much in a development game where he was the only player above 26 in the side by some distance and so would have been helping guide the players. He almost certainly won't make another red ball appearance for Hampshire at any level unless there's a massive injury crisis.
Whilst Aneurin Donald is already down as very aggressive in FC's, it feels like his strike rate was a bit too low in CC22, I noticed it was often not going past a 55/56 strike rate in my saves when playing as other teams, despite striking at 82 last season (average of nearly 30), 83 in 2019 (average of nearly 40), and he didn't play 2020 or 2021 due to injury. Currently he has a career strike rate of 74 from 58 FC games and around 82/83 for Hampshire, so hopefully he gets a big boost in his strike rate.
Ben Brown opened in the RLODC so should be down as a limited overs opener and also retired from T20s considering he hasn't played any 1st or 2nd XI T20s since joining Hampshire and hasn't played a T20 in almost 3 years now. He's also a SLA rather than a RM, with highlights footage from the game on youtube of his bowling.
Keith Barker is massively underrated in CC22, with him averaging between 33 & 37 with the ball in the county championship despite averaging 23.20 at a economy of 2.64 and a strike rate of 52.72 from 44 games since joining Hampshire.
Liam Dawson should be changed to aggressive in FC's, having had a strike rate of 55+ in every season since the start of the 2018 season whilst usually being one of their most consistent batsman, amassing 2328 runs at a average of 32.78 at a strike rate of 57.88. His bowling (as well as batting) needs a decent average & economy boost in all 3 formats, in FC's he tends to go at 35 to 40 average wise (and sometimes rarely bowling) and over 3 an over over the past few editions of Cricket Captain, whilst since 2017 (the first Championship after his test debut) he has taken _ wickets at a average of 30.03 & a economy of just 2.59, with 302 maidens to boot in those 6 years. Same too in white ball cricket where he's generally ineffective with ball & inconsistent with the bat in Cricket Captain, despite averaging 48.72 in the RLODC with the bat at a strike rate of 99.67 (which improves to 138.35 in 2018 & 102.62 in 2019) and 57 wickets from 36 games at 25.52 with the ball at a economy of just 4.42, including the 2nd lowest economy in 2019 of 4.11 (top was Murtagh with 3.64 of those who played more than 2 matches) from the start of 2015 to his last RLODC game in 2019. In 75 T20 Blast matches since 2016 he has scored over a 1000 runs at a batting average of 20.66 and a bowling average of 22.33 with an economy of 7.04, which is much better than how he's portrayed in the game. It surprised me when I came across these stats a short while ago (stats correct as of 25/5/23) as it surely means he's one of England's best spinners as well as allrounders in all 3 formats
Benny Howell is out for almost all of the T20 Blast due to a calf injury so should be down as injured for 12 weeks. He should also be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his T20 strike rates which have been 179 last year, 146 the season before across various tournaments and 145 in the 2019 T20 Blast.
Dom Kelly should be very aggressive in white ball cricket, striking at 148.10 in his 1st season of 2nd XI T20s last season (including an unbeaten half century) and 152.17 this season, while also having a strike rate of 104.87 in U19 ODIs in his matches against Australia this year.
Kyle Abbott could possibly be retired from white ball cricket as he mainly plays red ball cricket now and hasn't played either white ball format since 2021 in either England or South Africa and hasn't played any 2nd XI cricket in the formats either, with his last appearances coming in 2018. He's averaged just 19.67 with the ball at a economy of 2.96 from 81 FC matches since joining Hampshire with a strike rate of just 39.80 and needs a bowling boost (& possible batting boost as he averages 19.28 for Hampshire) as he often averages 25 or 26 with the ball
Scott Currie should be changed to defensive in FC's as his debut FC innings brought 38 runs at a strike rate of 46, whilst his other 3 innings have brought only 5 runs off 22 balls, which have come in defensive situations such as 110-8, 53-7 and 114-6 including against a high quality Surrey attack which included a Kemar Roach 8fer and his first game which included Darren Stevens taking 9 in the match. In 2nd XI cricket he has striked at 60.80 in 2019, 46.97 in 2021 and 49.08 last season, as well as 53.57 from 8 games for Dorset from the ages of 16 and 18.
Mohammad Abbas should be retired from both 50 overs & T20s as he last played a List A match in January 2021, and his last T20 came almost 3 years ago in October 2020, despite playing 4 seasons in total and 2 each in Pakistan and England. He's also very underrated in the recent updates of CC22, averaging between 28 and 32 in my recent saves, despite averaging only 16.45 in 28 games for Hampshire in the County Championship at a economy of just 2.23 and a strike rate of 44.12 in real life.
Brad Wheal is out for the whole of the T20 Blast due to a stress fracture, and I believe he will be out for the majority of the whole season if not the whole of it.

Daniel Bell-Drummond should be aggressive or at least average aggression in FC's based on his strike rates over the last 3 or so seasons.
Ben Compton doesn't open in the 2nd XI T20 games he plays and should be taken off as a T20 opener. He could also be changed to very defensive in all 3 formats but especially in the white ball formats.
Zak Crawley should probably be changed to very aggressive in all 3 formats, striking at 63 in 15 tests last year and at 61 in 2 tests this year so far in addition to striking at 62 in Division One this season. He also had strike rates of 157 in 2020 and 152 in 2021 across 25 T20 innings, whilst in his 3 ODI innings against Pakistan (last 50 over matches to date) in 2021 he scored 97 runs at a strike rate of 114 coming in at number 3.
Harry Finch has been keeping in all 3 formats since joining Kent for the 2nd XI and in some 1st XI games as well, but is currently down as a batsman Doesn't look like he's ever kept professionally
Jack Leaning rarely bowls in-game when he should be bowling many overs akin to that of an allrounder across all 3 formats.
Based on this season and last season as well as his career strike rate, Joey Evison should be average aggression in FC's rather than defensive.
Marcus O'Riordan should be an opener in all 3 formats, opening in his last FC game and scoring a century against the SL Development XI as well as doing so regularly in both the 2nd XI FCs & 2nd XI T20s where he captains the team.
Arshdeep Singh should possibly be changed to very aggressive in FC's based on his strike rate, although it is only 7 innings he has managed to get an average of 12.50 from it.
Nathan Gilchrist has had strike rates around the 86 & 87 mark in the past 2 editions of the RLODC, would that warrant a change to defensive?
Michael Hogan is another who needs a big strike rate boost like Aneurin Donald, as he strikes in the 70s & 80s in red ball cricket but often in my saves he only strikes in the low 50s.
Based on his performances last year which included a strike rate of 57 to go along with 2 fifties and a average of 52, Hamidullah Qadri should probably get changed from very defensive in FC's to anywhere between defensive or aggressive?
Jaskaran Singh should be either very aggressive in FC's based on last season or average aggression until he's played more innings.

George Balderson should be a T20 Opener, doing so regularly in the 2nd XI. He should also be changed from very defensive to average aggression in FC's based on his strike rates in the current & last season, and possibly also should be changed to average aggression in white ball cricket too based off his RLODC strike rate last season as well as his 2nd XI T20 strike rates of 128 this season and 149 last season.
Josh Bohannon is opening regularly in both 50 overs and T20s and should be down as a limited overs opener #3 in OD last season
Keaton Jennings should possibly be changed to average aggression in FCs as seems to be playing a bit more aggressively these seasons and has his strike rates as 54 this season and 58 last season while also scoring lots of runs. He's currently out injured with a hamstring injury having been injured in the 3rd game of the season.
Luke Wells has started opening for Lancashire in T20s this season and doing very decently so he should probably have the T20 Opener added to his bow.
George Bell should probably be changed to average aggression in white ball cricket until he's played more innings.
George Lavelle should possibly be very aggressive in FC's, striking at 69 in 2021 & 59 in 2022 from 2 matches each.
Danny Lamb should be very aggressive in white ball cricket
Liam Livingstone should be very aggressive in FCs and possibly shouldn't be down as a T20 opener, as he doesn't do it for England and hasn't done it for Lancashire in the past 2 or 3 years either, with the likes of Salt Jennings and Wells opening ahead of him.
Daryl Mitchell should be changed to aggressive in FCs as his career test strike rate is 55 (with an impressive test average of 57), including 64 from 5 tests (2nd most he's played in a calendar year) so far this year.
Luke Wood is a LMF rather than a LFM, having regularly been clocked at 87mph+
Tom Bailey should be changed to very aggressive in FCs based on his strike rates being 58 in 2021, 59 in 2022, and 91.53 in 2023 across 30 matches.
Richard Gleeson is on a 2 year T20 deal rather than 1, but is currently out after undergoing surgery on a fractured wrist in March, he still hasn't fully recovered just yet as the Lancashire match preview from the first T20 game mentions.
Tom Hartley has really upped his game in the past year and should be changed to very aggressive in both red ball & white ball cricket, with him getting a batting promotion up the order in recent times.
Will Williams should be changed to defensive or average aggression in limited overs cricket based on his strike rates in both white ball formats.

Louis Kimber should possibly be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket
Rishi Patel should be changed to average aggression in FC's with his career and recent seasons strike rates taken into account. He should also be an opener in all 3 formats, opening regularly in the Championship and alternating between opening and batting at 3 in both white ball formats.
Nick Welch should possibly be changed to aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his T20 strike rates over the past 2 seasons.
Lewis Hill should be changed to aggressive in FC's, striking at 60 in 2021, 61 last season and 55 this season with his average 40+ as well.
Colin Ackermann should possibly be changed to average aggression in FC's, as he had a strike rate of 52 last season and 54 this season, to go alongside a career strike rate of 49.50
Rehan Ahmed should be very aggressive in FC's with his strike rate being 71 both this season and last season.
Naveen ul-Haq is a RMF rather than a RFM and should also be average aggression in FCs.
Chris Wright should be changed to aggressive in FCs and possibly white ball cricket too. In the county championship he has had strike rates of 54 in 2021, 55 in 2022 and 72 so far in 2023, whilst in the RLODC last season his strike rate was 112 and in 2021 80

I'm not entirely sure whether Josh de Caires should be put down as a allrounder or not, but he definitely should be a near-regular bowler in all 3 formats, having bowled in every List A match to date and 6 innings out of 5 FC matches, whilst regularly bowling 4 overs in the 2nd XI T20s. In CC22 I don't recall him bowling in any of my saves even at 2nd XI level. He also probably shouldn't be a T20 Opener and instead be down as batting at 5 in the format as he regularly does so at both 1st XI & at 2nd XI level where he is captain, more often than he captains.

Stephen Eskinazi is currently not down as a 50 overs opener but should be down as one. He could also possibly be changed to very aggressive in white ball cricket based on his strike rates in the past 4 or 5 seasons.
Based on his strike rates since 2020, Mark Stoneman should be down as average aggression in FCs having had strike rates around the 51 and 52 mark, whilst also possibly being down to average aggression if not defensive in white ball cricket based on his past few years RLODC strike rates as well as his T20 career strike rate. He could also possibly be retired from T20s, having not played in the format since joining Middlesex.
I think Jack Davies should be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket as defensive seems too low for the attacking way he plays his cricket.
Robbie White has been opening in 2nd XI T20s, although I don't know how long he has been doing that for. His contract also need another year on it as in real life it currently runs until the end of 2024.
Martin Andersson should be changed to very aggressive in all formats based on his strike rates over the last 3 or so seasons
Max Harris should be an all-rounder and also down as very aggressive in both formats rather than just aggressive. Doesn't meet all-rounder criteria
Tom Helm is on a 4 year contract rather than a 2 year deal, having signed a extension to the end of 2026 in March, so that should be changed to 3 years.

Emilio Gay shouild be changed to either aggressive or very aggressive in white ball cricket. He should also be down as injured for the first 4 games of the season, being ruled out after having knee discomfort & surgery and only returning in the Championship match on the 11th of May.
Gus Miller should be an opener in all 3 formats, regularly opening the batting in 2nd XI FCs & T20s. He also bowls a lot in 2nd XI FCs where he plays as an allrounder so should probably bowl regularly in the red ball format.
Sam Whiteman should be changed to a pure batsman as he doesn't keep at all anymore due to serious finger injuries in 2016. (https://www.cricket.co.au/news/sam-w...lia/2020-10-21)
Luke Procter should be very defensive in white ball cricket
Tom Taylor should be aggressive in white ball cricket
Saif Zaib could possibly be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket
Simon Kerrigan should be retired from T20s considering the last time he played a T20 was almost 10 years ago and even before his test debut, which surprised me as he was a decent T20 bowler for Lancashire at the time.

Haseeb Hameed should possibly be changed to defensive in FCs based on his strike rates in the County Championship being 62 last season and 50 this season. I would usually argue higher like average aggression but considering Hameed's whole career has usually been that of low strike rates, I think defensive would be fine for now in case he does revert back to type.
Tom Loten is an allrounder, bowling in every FC & List A game he played last season for Yorkshire despite playing in a side stacked with bowlers and other allrounders.
Matt Montgomery should possibly be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket based on his last few seasons.
Steven Mullaney shouldn't be a opener in any format and should be changed from a FC & LA opener to batting at 6 in both formats, where he regularly and also most recently played. He last opened in a FC match 39 games ago in the last game of the 2019 season although he hadn't been a regular opener for a while by that point, and the last time he opened in a 50 overs match was 54 games ago in the 2014 semi final against Durham. He hasn't opened in either format since.
Colin Munro should be retired from 50 overs cricket as he last played almost 3 years ago in December 2020 and seems unlikely to play in the format again. He should also probably be retired from internationals as he both concedes his international career is probably over, especially as he hasn't played domestic cricket in New Zealand for almost 3 years due to playing in various T20 tournaments. His LOI retirement or a big selection nerf would come in handy due to the fact that he would regularly be playing for New Zealand in CC22, even if it was batting at 7.
Ben Slater shouldn't be a T20 Opener, having not opened at all since joining Nottinghamshire, batting at 3 mostly and 5 in his most recent T20 in 2021. 10 of 14 innings opened.
Ben Duckett should be an occasional keeper, I'm not sure he's ever kept for Nottinghamshire and Joe Clarke has kept for the side ahead of him, and him being a full keeper means he gets into the side ahead of the likes of Tom Moores and Dane Schadendorf in CC22 despite it not being the case in real life and those 2 (Schadendorf especially) being very good keepers. Duckett is a FT keeper, done it enough.
Tom Moores isn't a defensive batsman and should be changed to either average aggression or aggression in FCs. He has had strike rates of 68 in 2020, 56 in 2021, 50 in 2022 and 54 so far this season.
Dane Schadendorf should be a T20 opener having done so regularly in 2nd XI cricket.
Calvin Harrison should be changed to defensive in FCs
Lyndon James should be changed to average aggression in FCs based on his strike rates of 54 last season (along with a average of 52) and 50 this season.
Jake Ball seems to be currently out injured. He played in his only 2nd XI game in mid April where he ended up pulling out mid over and he hasn't played a game since.
Stuart Broad should be retired from white ball cricket having last played 50 overs & T20 cricket 6 years ago in 2017, having concentrated exclusively on test cricket.
Matt Carter should be very aggressive in FCs as in his last season of FCs in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy he had a strike rate of 104 (and a average of 17) from 3 matches, whilst he has had strike rates of 91 (average of 38) in 2021, 70 in 2022 (average of 36), and 91 this season with an average of 39.
Brett Hutton should be changed to aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his 50 overs strike rates both career wise and in the past few seasons from 32 matches, whilst he played the last of his 9 T20s in 2018. He could also possibly be retired from T20s considering he hasn't played since 2018 and has only played 4 2nd XI T20s in the past 3 seasons, with 1 match in 2021 and 3 in 2022 and seeming unlikely to play any T20s any time soon.
Ben Martindale is an allrounder rather than a bowler and should also be changed to an allformat opener, as he opens regularly in all 3 formats. He should also be changed to very aggressive in white ball cricket considering he has a strike rate of 167 from 5 2nd XI T20s whilst opening the batting this season, including an average of 46 and 2 fifties with a high score of 94 showcasing his style of playing.
Shaheen Afridi should be changed to very aggressive in all formats having added power to his game in late 2021/early 2022 with noticeable effect on both his strike rate and batting average. Last year he went at a 71 strike rate in Test cricket & had a strike rate of 84 in his Middlesex stint (average of 25), while in ODIs over the past year he has played only 3 innings but scored 38 runs at a strike rate of 253.33 whilst only being out once. In 8 T20Is last year he went at a strike rate of 157, whilst also having a strike rate of 157 in the 2022 PSL, which he improved on in the 2023 PSL by having a strike rate of 168 in addition to an average of 26.60 which also included a fifty.
Fateh Singh should be an allrounder rather than a bowler
Olly Stone is currently out injured after being injured in just his 2nd County Championship match of the season last month, going off halfway through an over with a hamstring injury, and isn't expected back until around the third Ashes test in early July, so should probably be down as injured for 14 weeks.

Ben Green should be down as very aggressive in limited overs cricket
Tom Kohler-Cadmore should be down as an occasional keeper, having kept in some T20s for Yorkshire, the LPL and in the T10 on occasion. He should also be changed to batting in the middle order in FCs, where I believe he bats regularly.
Tom Lammonby should be changed to very aggressive in white ball cricket based on his past few seasons strike rates which have been 140 in 2019, 178 in 2020, 144 in 2021 and 140 in 2022. He should also bowl a lot more regularly than he does in CC22, especially in FCs & LAs
Will Smeed should be a limited overs opener having opened for the England Lions vs South Africa last year. He also signed a white ball only deal that runs until the end of 2024 so he should be retired from FCs if he isn't already.
George Thomas is an allrounder rather than a batsman. He should also be a limited overs opener having regularly opened in 2nd XI cricket & for the England U19s.
Joshua Thomas is also an allrounder rather than a batsman, bowling regularly in all formats including the RLODC for the 1st XI, whilst even taking 5-95 in a red ball match against a Hampshire 2nd XI who regularly win the competition. He should also be changed to average aggression in FCs as his strike rates were 53.47 in 2021 (with a 25.66 average) & 55.22 in 2022 with an average of 37.
Steven Davies should be an opener in all 3 formats rather than just white ball, as I believe he's been opening for Somerset for at least two or three years now.
James Rew based on his form this season could possibly be changed to defensive in FCs. Seems like his strike rate is improving with age. He should also be changed to a limited overs opener having opened in the RLODC & in the T20s (1st & 2nd XI) last season
Roelof van der Merwe should be retired from FCs as he has signed a white ball only contract with Somerset that will run for 3 years and will keep him at Somerset until at least the end of the 2025 season and when he will be 40. He should also be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket.
Sonny Baker is currently out injured for a while after picking up a lumbar stress fracture whilst bowling in a 2nd XI game in April that will keep him out for the next few months at least. He's also currently on a 2 year deal having had it extended to 2024 in December.
Josh Davey should possibly be changed to average aggression in white ball cricket based on his domestic strike rates over the past few seasons, as well as T20I SRs of 131 (including 133 in the T20I WC) & 96 in the last year he played ODIs in 2019
Jack Harding has seemingly been released by Somerset, he was registered with Wales Minor Counties in December (along with Irish/Welsh keeper Will Smale) for the 2023 season and hasn't played any 2nd XI cricket for Somerset this season, instead playing one 2nd XI match for Glamorgan. He was unattached at the time of his U19 Test debut where he bowled decently with good movement and took 3 wickets including 2 top order batsmen. (https://glamorgancricket.com/news/ho...-training-camp)
Peter Siddle should be changed to average aggression if not aggressive based on his strike rates in the past few years as well as his career one.

Arguably some of the most well thought out feedback I've ever seen, hell of an effort!

                        Surrey:
Rory Burns shouldn't be down as an occasional keeper as I believe he last kept over a decade ago and is highly unlikely to ever keep in a game again, especially with Surrey having many keepers on their books, including contracting Josh Blake from halfway last season. He should also be changed to average aggression in FCs considering he's had strike rates of between 50 and 52 in the past few seasons of county cricket, although his test strike rates have admittedly been lower. He should also be changed to very defensive in limited overs cricket based on both his career strike rates as well as his recent season ones.

Ben Geddes should also be a FC Opener having regularly done so in the 2nd XI and also doing it in the game against the Sri Lankan Development XI where he made a century.

Ryan Patel should possibly be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket based on his List A returns in 113 in 2021 (average of 55) and a strike rate of 97 (average of 41) in 2022 showing sustained runscoring at high strikerates. I would say he's also a RFM rather than a RM

Cameron Steel shouldn't be opening in T20s. Mostly opened through his career

Josh Blake should be changed to average aggression in FCs, as in 2nd XI cricket he had a strike rate of 50 (in addition to a average of 63) in 2022, and a strike rate of 65 (average of 61) so far this season.

Tom Latham should be changed to defensive in limited overs cricket based on his international white ball strike rates.

Sean Abbott should be changed to either aggressive or very aggressive in FCs based on his strike rates for both NSW & Surrey in the past 3/4 seasons and usually 65+.

Sam Curran should be down as batting at 3 in T20s, he's done it quite a bit in the IPL and is now doing it on the regular for Surrey, whilst also filling in as captain of their T20 side when Chris Jordan was still at the IPL

Chris Jordan should be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his domestic strike rates of 160.18 (average of 24.71 as well) in 2022, 143.8 in 2021, and also a T20I strike rate of 144.66 (with an average of 15.68) from 2018 to 2023.

Gus Atkinson should be changed to aggressive if not very aggressive in FC's. He's found his feet in the past 2 seasons and it has been reflected in all formats in both batting and bowling, including his strike rates which have been 62 last season and 78 this season at decent averages as well.

Tom Curran has been a proper all-rounder since around 2018/19 and should be classified as one in the game, he's even got into the Surrey team a few times as a batsman alone, such as when making his FC century and in the T20 Quarter Final last year where he batted at 3. He should also be changed to very aggressive in FCs as his strike rates have been 59.12 in 2018, 66.66 in his only game of 2019 and 91.97 in 2022 with him not playing a game in either 2020 or 2021.

Dan Worrall should be changed to very aggressive in FCs, with his strike rates being 56.81 for Gloucestershire in 2021, 57.69 for South Australia in 2021-22, and for Surrey 81.69 in 2022 & 127.39 so far this season.

                        Sussex:
Tom Haines should possibly be changed to aggressive in FCs with his strike rate this season being 70 in addition to it being 63 last season.

Ali Orr should be changed to very aggressive in white ball based on his strike rate last season being 100 (with an average of 59 including a double century) in the RLODC and a strike rate of 161 in the T20s, whilst this season it is currently 172 in the T20 Blast. He should also possibly be changed to aggressive in FCs with his strike rate this season being 68 in addition to last season's being 55.

Based on his test record, I would say Cheteshwar Pujara should possibly be defensive if not very defensive.

Tom Alsop should be changed to average aggression in FCs and to aggressive in limited overs cricket. Since rejoining Sussex he has found his best form again which originally earnt him a callup to the England Lions at 21 years old. Since moving to Sussex he has had a strike rate of 54 last season and 52 this season in the Championship, while having a strike rate of 104 (including a average of 66 and a best of 189*) as well as striking at 153 in the T20s, with him getting back to his runscoring best for Sussex and seemingly now starting to fulfill his potential.

James Coles has had a great start to the season, averaging 74 at a strike rate of 66 in the county championship, could get a boost as very defensive feels a bit low? Also had a strike rate of 56 in 2021

Nathan McAndrew should be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket

Brad Currie (if he isn't already) should be down as Scottish, he has been in a few squads already and was also in the probables for the T20 World Cup in 2021.

Steven Finn is currently out with a knee injury that he sustained in pre-season. Same knee injury that's been affecting him ever since the 2017-18 Ashes which is such a shame.

Archie Lenham should possibly be changed to defensive in limited overs cricket with his RLODC strike rates being 82 in 2021 and 96 in 2022 which has brought his career strike rate to 86.58 alongside an average of nearly 18, showing some of his batting potential.

I know it's a mute point now, but based on his career strike rate in FC's, Tymal Mills should be aggressive rather than defensive.

                        Warwickshire:
Based on his career strike rate as well as this seasons, Sam Hain should possibly be changed to defensive in FCs.

Dan Mousley should be an allrounder rather than just a batsman, bowling in 17 out of 23 T20s, 7 out of 9 LAs, 5 innings out of 12 FC matches and being a very handy white ball option as his averages, economies and strike rates show.

Will Rhodes shouldn't be opening in T20s, usually batting more in the middle order.

Hamza Shaikh should be a FC & LA Opener although not in T20s, as too should Amir Khan.

Rob Yates should be a opener in T20s as well and not just FCs & LAs. He should also be changed to aggressive in limited overs cricket, in the RLODC striking at 93 in 2021 & 94 (with an average of 51.50) in 2022, whilst in the T20 Blast he has striked at 159 in 2020, 161 in 2022 and 136 so far this season.

Jacob Bethell should be an opener in all 3 formats. He should also be changed to defensive based on his career strike rate of 46.

Ethan Brookes has been opening in some 2nd XI T20s this season though I don't know how many or if it's been a regular thing.

Jake Lintott should be changed to very aggressive in FCs based on his only FC innings being 15 runs at a strike rate of 79 as well as his Minor Counties strike rate being 66 along with an average of 34. He should also be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket, striking at 99 from 7 List A matches (along with an average of 35) and in the T20 Blast striking at 139 in 2021, 100 last year and 137.50 this season as well as 172.72 in his 2 innings in the BPL.

Liam Norwell has been out with an injury (hasn't played any 1st or 2nd XI games so far this season) but is very close to fitness and will be back around the same time as Hassan Ali. He should be changed to either average aggression or aggressive in FCs based on his strike rates which have been 119 in 2020, 51 in 2021 and 57 in 2022.

Chris Rushworth should be changed to very aggressive in FCs, striking at 61 in 2021, 76 in 2022 and 81 so far this season.

Worcestershire: Taylor Cornall should be a opener in FCs & LAs, although not in T20s.
Adam Hose should probably be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket, striking at 154 in 2020, 133 in 2021, 161 last season along with a average of 56, and 152 this season with an average of 43.

Kashif Ali should be either aggressive or very aggressive in limited overs cricket

Henry Cullen should be changed to average aggression in limited overs cricket, in the 2nd XI T20s he has had strike rates of 135 in 2022 and 142 this season with the most runs & highest average for Worcestershire. He has only played 2 RLODC innings and when Worcestershire was collapsing which would explain the low strike rates.

Gareth Roderick should be very defensive in FCs, striking at 41 in 2020 2021 & 2022, and 37 so far this season. He should also be very defensive in limiteed overs cricket, striking at 66 & 82 in the RLODC in 2021 and 2022, striking at 100 in the T20 Blast last season, and his career strike rates are 82 in LAs and 115 in T20s.

Michael Bracewell should be changed to aggressive in FCs, striking at 57 in both years of his Test career so far. He should also be changed to very aggressive, striking at 119 in 19 ODIs (along with an average of 42.50 and 2 centuries) and 140 in 16 T20Is. He also had a strike rate of 149 alongside a average of 80 from 10 T20 games for Wellington in the 2021-22 season (didn't play last season) that led to a call up for New Zealand.

Mitchell Santner is on a T20 only deal as far as I know rather than a full overseas deal

Matthew Waite should be changed to aggressive in FCs based on his career strike rate of 57 and his current season strike rate of 64 whilst also averaging 44.

Adam Finch should be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket, striking at 125 & 135 in the RLODC in 2021 & 2022 to have a career strike rate of 131.48 with an average of 14, whilst this season having a strike rate of 170 in the T20 Blast.

Dillon Pennington should possibly be changed to average aggression in FCs, striking at 52 in 2020, 45 in 2021 and 57 last season.

Based on his small sample size, I would say Josh Tongue should possibly be changed to very aggressive in white ball cricket, with his only innings in the RLODC last season being an innings of 23 runs scored at a strike rate of 143.75

                          Yorkshire:
Will Fraine should be changed to very defensive in FCs & to very aggressive in limited overs cricket. In FCs he has had strike rates of 33 in 2020, 34 in 2021 and 35.80 in 2022 which justifies the very defensive tag. In white ball cricket he has had strike rates of 113 in the 2021 RLODC & 106.84 in the 2022 edition, while in the T20s he has had strike rates of 187 in 2020, 141 in 2021 and 142.85 last season. I don't think he regularly opens in FCs anymore and I believe he's been batting between the top & middle order in the format more regularly in the past few seasons.
George Hill should be changed to defensive in FCs with his strike rates being 49 in 2020, 47 in 2022 (average of 32) and 67 (average of 31) so far this season
Adam Lyth should be changed to very aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his strike rates in T20s in recent seasons which have been 158 in 2020, 139 in 2021 and 177 in 2022.
Dawid Malan should probably be changed to aggressive in FCs based on his strike rates domestically which have been 79 in 2020, 58 in 2021, 66.66 in 2022 and 67.42 so far this season.
Shan Masood should be changed to very aggressive in FCs & aggressive in limited overs cricket based on his fantastic performances in England & Pakistan over the past few years.
Will Luxton should possibly be an opener in all formats, regularly batting as an opener in the 2nd XI although in the 1st XI he usually is at 3 due to stronger batsmen ahead of him opening up. Same goes for James Wharton.
Finlay Bean should be a regular FC+LA Opener and also changed to a occasional keeper, having rarely kept at 2nd XI level since leaving Yorkshire the first time round. He should also be changed to defensive or average aggression in FCs based on his strike rate of 50 this season as he was judged a bit too harshly based on 3 games in a struggling Yorkshire lineup. He should also possibly be changed to defensive as his strike rate was 84 from 3 List A matches. From the picture he also doesn't seem to be a regular in the side when he should be a regular in both the FC & 50 overs sides as well as needing a decent batting boost from the player he was in CC22.
Harry Duke regularly opens in 50 overs cricket and could possibly be put down as a limited overs opener considering he also regularly bats at 3 in the 2nd XI T20s and he last played a 1st XI T20 in 2021.
Ben Mike should be changed to very aggressive in FCs, striking at 73 in 2020, 52 in 2021 & in 2022 62 for Leicestershire (along with an average of 32) before joining Yorkshire and striking at 73.33 from 2 innings.
Jordan Thompson should be changed to very aggressive in FCs, striking at 61 in 2020, 59 last season and 90 so far this season.
David Wiese is down as South African when he should be down as Namibian. From what I remember, he was very underrated with both bat & ball in CC22.
Ben Coad should be changed to very aggressive in FCs & very defensive in limited overs cricket. In FCs he has had strike rates of 76 in 2020, 57 in 2021, 64.31 last season as well as a strike rate of 115.00 this season, whilst in the RLODC he has had strike rates of 85.7 in 2021 & 61.90 in 2022 to help amass a career strike rate of 64.75 and go with a T20 strike rate of 55 in 2020.
Matt Milnes should possibly be changed to aggressive in white ball cricket based on his career strike rates. He should also be put down as out for the season as he suffered another lumbar stress back injury that has ruled him out after playing just one match this season and after recovering from his previous back injury ahead of schedule.
Neil Wagner is currently out injured with a torn hamstring & a disc injury in his back. If I remember correctly that has meant his whole spell at Yorkshire is off rather than just the first few games, although I can't be too sure due to the lack of reporting on it all, but as he has missed half of his 10 game spell, it does seem like they replaced him for the entirety of the deal with Saud Shakeel. He should also be changed to very aggressive in FCs, as since the start of 2019 he has had a strike rate of 76.20 in Tests to go along with an average of 19.89 as well.

Zaman Khan (Derbyshire T20 Overseas), Wayne Parnell (Durham T20), Luke Robinson (Durham, has been in every T20 squad this season), Ashton Turner (T20 replacement for Stubbs), Noah Thain (promising batting allrounder on a recently signed contract for Essex), Peter Hatzoglou (Glamorgan T20), Ruaidhri Smith (back at Glamorgan after being released last season, recovered from injury), Joseph Eckland (rookie contract with Hampshire, keeper who scored 51 off 63 balls for Dorset vs Hampshire in a RLODC warmup last season), Arafat Bhuiyan (Kent, on a deal till the end of the season after taking 4 wickets against Surrey, getting the wickets of Pope, Smith, Foakes & Jacks), Naseem Shah (Leics T20), Reeve Evitts (Worcs all-rounder not on a contract but played in the RLODC and is still in their academy) and Usama Mir (Worcs T20) are possibly all missing. Olly Davidson is possibly missing too, I believe (based on a Cricket Scotland article in January) that he's still a part of their academy, after playing a few RLODC games for them in addition to an ODI at 17 years old for Scotland.

Bas de Leede was out for the first month with an ankle injury & returned on the 10th of May
Adam Rossington was out injured for a month after the first 2 FC fixtures with a finger injury which led to Pepper placing as his replacement, so Rossington could possibly be out for 6 or 7 weeks.
Marchant de Lange has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a thigh injury but has played 4 FC & 2 T20 games so could possibly be made available for the last 4 games of the season if he isn't ruled out for the whole season in CC23?
Josh de Caires has since bowled in every T20 game he's played with decent results so should almost definitely be changed to an allrounder
Emilio Gay returned on the 11th of May after being out at the start of the season after having knee discomfort & surgery.

Would it be possible to have some associates as signable domestic players in this season & the following ones in CC23?
Players from nations such as Scotland, Netherlands, Germany (Justin Broad for example) and Jersey among others would be great to have available. For example with Jersey, Nick Greenwood (might still be missing in-game) plays for Wellington, Ben Ward has played for Boland, while Julius Sumerauer & Asa Tribe have both played 2nd XI cricket after ripping it up at international & club level, whilst the likes of Jonty Jenner & Josh Lawrenson have come through the county academies as have a few Guernsey players in the past decade. Also would be great to have associates available as domestic players elsewhere potentially too, Max O'Dowd in New Zealand and Scott Edwards & Tom Cooper in Australia.

Would agree with the Yorkshire changes. Also not sure Wharton should be very defensive in all formats? Not much evidence to suggest that as he scores quickly in the second team and has a first xi t20 111 off 56 a few days ago
