retired hurt 1st innings but bats in 2nd

I thought I had seen it before, but now I have confirmation and proof! Neil Edwards sustains a fracture in the first innings and is out of action for three weeks...except for the second innings, where he fronts up regardless to the very first ball. It can happen, and at least as far back as this version.

Unfortunately he got a golden duck, so I'm still waiting for a documented case where all that British bulldog bravado actually pays off - but I'm waiting more confidently now.
