What We Would Like In ICC2011

This is a sticky topic.

Format specific roles and abilities. As thing currently are players such as Yardy are never going to reflected in the game very well at all.
County Cricket he's a pure batsmen while in the shorter stuff he's a bowler allrounder.
Very much like to see both the Australian and English leagues being simulated even if you select International career. Like wise Australian league simulated when you're playing in the County Championship.
Generation of players in the furture leads to bowling becoming way too dominant in OD matches, literally no one averages over 40 with the bat and there are a plethora of sub 20 bowlers.

I'd rather lose a run than get one animated so ludicrously.

4. You should have the option to bring the keeper up to the stumps for seam bowlers of a certain pace. Maybe this one is a bit much.

I think Keepers give away far too many byes, that needs to be reduced somewhat.
It'd be a nice feature though to be able bring the keeper up for fm/mf/m bowlers WITHOUT giving away a truckload of byes.
And as another one of batsmen gets hit & goes down for 4 weeks, I'd to like reiterate that this needs to be reduced somewhat.

No-balls too, people don't bowl that many no-balls these days after the advent of free-hits (which has influenced Test/FC-bowling as well), except occasionally. After Historical Retired Players Stats ,Captains Record

The rules of the domestic comps in the game will always reflect real life. There's a real life financial reason for the one player overseas limit, I'm getting an inkling of the two overseas T20 players being reduced for 2012 domestic season from ECB (as 2011 is identical to 2010).
Some good suggestions guys, some very in depth suggestions, Phylos...

He'll beat the best batsmen in the world, but you risk illegal deliveries and free hits if you use him.
Anyways, I don't like this current thing of everyone bowling no-balls in the game; I've ended up taking some wickets on no-balls on a fair few occasions as well, that's really annoying, especially on a flat-pitch & when you really need wickets.Last edited by enigma; 03-11-2011, 03:40 PM.
