I've always wondered if it affected your chances of winning the toss. I'd be interested to know whether it does affect anything though.

And of course if the captain's more experienced and respected then the guys will obey him more readily.

Yes Captains records will make a game stats much more better
More points to add
1 - Before session we have to appoint captain for Upto particular series
