How to improve a player?

Hi people,
I was wondering, what technique coaching can make a batsman a better player.
Attacking shots might improve his strike rate but not his run scoring ability and so it wouldn't help his batting average, so what actually will improve him?
Same goes for the bowlers, what technique coaching will improve the spin bowlers and what would the fast bowlers?

Some of this might be down to the strength of your team. Improving player's aggression and bowling accuracy through coaching can help in the short term. Working on general technique will help long term.

If no improvement after technical that means waste to keep into the Team

Does the improvement of a player depends on age of player?I gave lot of technique coaching to my 32 year player but no changes.
