  • Hard Limit Per FC County On International Call Ups

Just had 9 players called up for international duty. 7 of my first team and both my international players (despite them being "Full season = Yes" when I signed them.
Mayank Sidana hadn't played a single international, then 3 months with Worcestershire and he's called up for an overseas tour. A young New Zealander (regen) goes as well.
7 of my team called up for the England 12 for the 1st test of the second series of the summer. Only one of them is actually on an England contract. I am now having to play with my "trial youth "players in every game.

What will happen if I get 2 injuries now (and have only 10 players in my squad) will the game crash?

Think I will have to go back to captaining England just to prevent this. But that means missing so many important County games which the CPU loses in my absence.

    Thoughts?

The continued lack of stats in ICC is not so much the elephant in the room - as the Brontosaurus in the bathtub.

      The price of success!
If you get injuries, I'm pretty sure that a youth player or two will become available just for those matches concerned.

Yes, but they are usually hopeless.

SEVEN!?! That's an effort for an English domestic side. But I'm always get annoyed when, despite being apparently available for a full season, overseas players are picked for their international teams. Maybe there could be a sign for example telling us before buying overseas players, if they have a chance of representing their respective international teams?
We need some level of certainty that our overseas players will be available for the whole season.

Just hit 11 called up for the IPL at the start of the season as Yorkshire. There's a reason I always have a terrible start in the championship

Just had exactly the same thing.
All my specilist batters and allrounders called up for IPL. Now open with an overseas player then a regen I had to be given at the season's beginning rather than the middle then the wicket keeper, reserve wicky at 4 then 7 specialist bowlers (one of whom is the other regen given in April). If I get an injury now I'll need yet more regens - I've already had 2.

Thinking of bowling a seamer into the ground to "force" an injury to see what happens.

Also.. I have a bowler ranked 2 in the world NOT playing IPL, another ranked about 15 not playing IPL and not one batter in the top 20 - yet IPL take my average batters and leave me with my world class bowlers.
